Don't miss this summer's S.E.A.L Training for Teens (Self-Empowerment And Leadership) (ages 14-18)
Have you ever wondered how you can help your child make better life decisions? Learn personal leadership and communications skills? This highly interactive workshop uses role playing, Meyers-Briggs Personality Type Theory and group discussion to help young adults explore their motivations, preferences and personal strengths. Participants walk away with an increased awareness of self and others and learn how best to apply their strengths to achieve their personal and professional goals. Parent involvement prior to the workshop is encouraged. Giving Tree season is just 6 months away - sign up now for a volunteer training session on August 28
Giving Tree (GT), established in 2003, is an outreach program of Community Center Shanghai in partnership with the Shanghai Charity Foundation and other local NGOs. Donors, sponsors and volunteers share the joy of Christmas with underprivileged children by providing them with a bag of new holiday gifts during the Spring Festival season. This year Giving Tree seems likely to have nearly 15,000 children to support! Join the Giving Tree Team and make a difference this holiday season.
