Food Safety in Shanghai -
Local Students'Science Fair Project chosen to compete in Washington D.C.
Three local students participated in an online science fair sponsored by the U.S. Army. Of the 2000 projects submitted, their project was selected as one of the top 16 projects, earning them a trip to Washington D.C. in June to compete for the national title.
The project was called Shanghai's Dilemma and looked into food safety in Shanghai--specifically fruits and vegetables. The team addressed the dilemma of: Where should I buy my produce? Which produce is safe to consume?
We think the results are surprising. Team RAIDANS invites you to visit the website radians.weebly.com that documents the student's findings, and the science behind the project.
